I HAVENT GOT THE CONCEPT OF HYBRIDISATION,HETEROLYTIC & HOMOLYTIC CLEAVAGE??
hybridisation is mixiig of atomic orbitals of nearly same energy to give identical orbitals arranged in space for stability. in polyatomic molecules hybrydisation determines the shape of molecules.
homolytic fission of covalent bond means that each atom after cleavage retains its electron and forms free radical. example Cl2 in presence of light.
heterolytic fission means on breaking of covalent bond more electronegative atom keeps the electron of the shaired pair and aquires -ve charge, and the other atom forms +ve ion. example HCl H+ +Cl-
