I have refered it earlier.But not able to understand it very properly.

In the question, there are three interfaces that are given:
1) Air - Glass
2) Air - Water
3) Water - Glass
So, to understand it briefly we can say that this is a relation of the sort A:B, B:C and A:C
Hence, by calculating refractive index for air-water and air-glass we can eventually calculate refractive index for water-glass and thereby we can find the angle of refraction.
If you look at the solution, this is the approach to solve it.
First we have calculated the refractive index for both the interfaces by taking Snell's law for the angles given.
Then we use relative refractive index formula to derive the refractive index for water-glass interface.
Finally, we use the Snell's law again to find the angle of refraction.
This is the easiest approach to the solution as only two formulae are used in it.
