CBSE - X - English

I have English Communicative. How much do we have to write for the writing questions, i.e, the letter/article and the story. I usually adhere to the word limit specified but the CBSE Topper's answer sheet has exceeded the word limit by a huge margin. So which one is better to follow? Also, how much should we write for the novel-based question to get 10/10?

Hi Rimjhim,

Please pay attention to covering all points in an answer rather than being bothered by word count. Even if an answer exceeds its word limit, it is quote possible that the human brain may not retain all the information and reproduce only half of what was learnt during the study period. So, we recommend you to understand and answer and not count the words of your answer.

The average word limit for letter/story/article is 150-200 words.
