Human migration refers to movement of people to other regions. Human migration is a historical fact because people since the beginning of the human race have been migrating to different parts of the world. Studies show that the pre-modern migration of human populations begins with the movement of Homo erectus out of Africa across Eurasia   about 1.75 million years ago. It is believed that the Aryans migrated to India in around 1500 BCE from parts of Central Asia. In the late 16th and 17th centuries, several Europeans migrated to America in search of land and minerals.
