Answer:
Consider word 'RAT'
1) Write all the letters of a given word in alphabetical order.
R A T
2 1 3
2) Check from left side how many numbers are less than that number.
Right side of R has only 1 letter which is less than 2. similarly for A and T we do not have
numbers less than 1 or 3.
R A T
2 1 3
1 0 0
3) Write 0!, 1!, 2! from right side.
R A T
2 1 3
1 0 0
2! 1! 0!
4) Rank of a word = 1 × 2! + 0 × 1! + 0 × 0! = 2
