How to find a density
Asked by mitulraisa3784.7sdatl | 18 Apr, 2020, 06:05: PM
Expert Answer
We know that,
Density is the ratio of mass and volume.
density = mass /volume
So, for calculating density you must know the values of mass and volume of the substance or an object.
So, once you know these values you can substitute the values of mass and volume in the above equation and can calculate the density.
Also, while calculating make sure that all the quantities are in same set of units i.e either SI unit or CGS unit.
SI unit of density is kg/m3
CGS unit of density is g/cm3
Hope this helps!!!
