Let n be the number of times that 2 is added.
So, 2n two's are added to 8 to get 1024.
So, 2n two's are added to 8 to get 1024.
Using Euclid's Division Lemma,
a=bq+r
that is,
1024=2n+8
So, 1016=2n
So, n= 508
