how many sphere are there in unit cell if it is a facecenterd unit cell alse if it is body centered....what is a unitcell&lattice means?

No. of spheres or atoms per unit cell in FCC = 4

No. of spheres or atoms per unit cell in BCC = 2

Unit cell is the smallest repeating unit in space which when repeated over and over again produces the complete crystal lattice.

Lattice is a regular arrangement of the constituent particles (atoms, ions or molecules) of a crystalline solid in 3D space.
