# How many molecules and atoms of sulphur are present in 0.1 mile of S8 molecules?

Asked by Vikas 6th March 2017, 1:06 PM

1 mole of S8 molecules = 6.023 x 1023 molecules of S8
Therefore 0.1 mole of S8 molecule  = 0.1 x 6.023 x 1023  molecules of S8
= 6.023 x 1022 molecules of S8
Also,                 1 molecules of S8 =  8  atoms of sulphur
6.023 x 1022 molecules of S8 = 8 x 6.023 x 1022   atoms of sulphur

= 4.82 x 1023  atoms of sulphur
