Q: Sum of two rational numbers is 3/5.If one of them is -2/7, find the other.
 
Solution:
 
According to the condition,
 
begin mathsize 16px style The space other space rational space number space equals space 3 over 5 minus open parentheses negative 2 over 7 close parentheses equals fraction numerator 21 plus 10 over denominator 35 end fraction equals space 31 over 35 end style
