Expert Answer
Cochlea is a spiral organ of two and a half turns. Cochlea contains the sensory cells which are mainly responsible to transmit the impulses to brain. When the vibration set right from the ear drum, reaches the oval window, it sets the cochlear fluid into vibration which stimulate the sensory cells of cochlea to transmit the impulse to brain.
