How is the pressure fluctuation maximum at the middle of the pipe when the antinodes are at the ends and the nodes are in the middle in an open organ pipe?
Also what does this mean -" A pressure node corresponds to a displacement antinode" ?

Answer:
  1. At nodes, the displacement of the particle remains minimum, strain is minimum and thus pressure is maximum.
At antinodes, the displacement of the particles remains maximum, strain is maximum and thus pressure is minimum.
Thus, maximum pressure variation is at the nodes and so maximum pressure variation is in the middle.
  2. Sound waves in fluids are generally described in termms of displacement of the fluid or in terms of pressure variation. To avoid confusion displacement node and displacement anitnode are used to refer points where particles of the fluid have zero displacement and maximum dispalcement respectively.
