A class two lever has fulcrum at the centre of a machine whereas the load and effort are located at two distant extreme ends.
A single movable pulley system has a similar machine system, i.e the fulcrum (the pulley at the centre), the load acting downward at one of the ends of the pulley and the effort acting upward at the other end of the pulley.
Therefore, a single movable pulley system is a class 2 lever.
