how does kinetic energy of molecules of gas in cylinder increase when gas cylinder is kept in a moving van?

-The kinetic energy increases with the increase in the net velocity, inertial change and change in momentum.
-This kind of movement often increases the overall temperature of the gas as well.
-Therefore, due to additional amount of movement provided by the van, also keeping in mind its inertia and change in momentum due to moving van, the K.E of the gas also increases.
