how does buoyant force acts on a plastic blog of mass 2kg?will it be forced upwards?

Hello,
Buoyant force always acts upwards irrespective of the body.
And bouyant force depends on the volume of the body being inserted in water, as this is the volume of water which it displaces. So If you know the dimenaion ( and not necessarily mass) of the plastic blog, then you cant ell the force being exerted on that.
