Expert Answer
Winds carry the warmth and cold from one place to the other. For example, the lower latitudes are warmer than the higher latitudes; the winds blowing from the lower latitudes to higher ones increase the temperature of the higher latitudes.
The winds blowing form the oceans carry moisture and cause rainfall on the land when they strike the mountains. Thus, winds modify the climate of a place.
