how do we find the internal resistance of the circuit having simultaneous resistors and capacitors of unequal capability serially. Is there a nessacity of integration ?

The internal resistance of a cell is calculated as
 
begin mathsize 12px style straight r equals straight E over straight I minus straight R end style
Now, in a circuit containing R and C in series, the resistance is the impedance Z, which is given as
 
begin mathsize 12px style straight Z equals square root of straight R squared plus fraction numerator 1 over denominator straight omega squared straight C squared end fraction end root end style
 
Now, in a RC circuit, the source used is an AC source and hence current keeps on oscillating.
So, finding internal resistance will involve integration over time.
