Internal Respiration

External Respiration

Internal respiration is the exchange of gases in body tissues.

External respiration is the exchange of gases between the alveoli and lung capillaries

Internal respiration takes place in cellular level.

External respiration occurs between body and external environment

Internal respiration produces energy and waste products

Gas exchange and voice takes place in external respiration
