How did the Lodi dynasty come to an end?

Ibrahim Lodi, the last ruler of the Lodi dynasty, was defeated by Babur in the First Battle of Panipat in 1526 CE. This battle marked the end not only of the Lodi dynasty but also of the Delhi Sultanate.
