It was for the first time, in the Cambridge school, that Helen heard and interacted with the girls of her age. She was able to play with them and communicate with them. She enjoyed herself thoroughtly by playing games such as blind man's bluff, playing in the snow, etc. They would discuss studies with each other. They would even go for long walks together. Some of the girls in the school learnt how to speak to Helen through her sign language. One of the happiest moments in Helen's life was when her sister Mildred joined the same school, Cambridge.
