how can we identify the lenses experimentally

By touching:-
Convex lens is thick in middle and thin in edges. Concave lens is thin in middle and thick at edges.
By feeling the thickness by hand, we can identify the type of lens.
 
Without touching :-
If we place a convex lens on top of news paper that lying flat, we can view the enlarged images of text.
On the otherhand, if we place a concave lens on news paper that is lying horizontally, text size will appear smaller than the original one.
Hence from the appearence of text size, it is possible to identify the type of lens

Plssss answer..... Assertion: Magnetic field lines never intersect each other. Reason: If they intersect, then at the point of intersection, the compass needle would point towards two directions, which is not possible.
