How can we calculate push of air on the freely falling body, given the height and velocity it acquires

FROM WORK ENERGY THEOREM:work done(net)=change in kinetic energy=1/2  mv2 =500J
work done by gravitational pull=mgh=1000J
now net work done=work by grav pull+resistive force(R)of air=1000-R
R=500 J
