Answer:

Unicellular organisms reproduce by asexual methods such as binary and multiple fission,while multicellular organisms reproduce by both asexual as well as sexual mode of reproduction. In higher complex multicllular organisms sexual mode is more common.

But you must remember that at times asexual reproduction via vegetative methods is preferred in plants.
