How anything  raise to power 0 gives 1? Can you please  make it understand

We know that,
 
xa  ÷ xb = begin mathsize 16px style straight x to the power of straight a over straight x to the power of straight b end style = xa-b   .... Law of indices or exponents
Here x is a non- zero number and a, b are real numbers.
 
We know that,
 
begin mathsize 16px style 3 to the power of 1 over 3 to the power of 1 space equals space 1 space space space space rightwards double arrow space 3 to the power of 1 minus 1 end exponent space equals space 1 space rightwards double arrow space 3 to the power of 0 space equals 1 end style
Therefore anything raise to power 0 is equal to 1.
