hi sir i can not understand one problem based on motion and time sir plz help me,
The trains covers a distance of 400km between raiganj to kolkata,running non-stop. study the table and determine which train moves faster? what is its average speed.

Hi,
Here Distance, d = 400 km
Time for train M = Deperture time - Arrival time = 4 hr 40 mins
Time for train N = Deperture time - Arrival time = 7 hr
Calculate the speed of each train using the formula speed = Distance /Time
You will get the train which moves faster.
Here it is given that the train moves non-stop, so we can consider that it moves with constant speed.
