Expert Answer
Percentage error in length measurement = (0.1/5)×100 = 2%
Percentage error in width measurement = (0.1/2)×100 = 5%
Hence percentage error in perimeter = (2+5) = 7%
hence perimeter = [ 14± (7% of 14) ] cm = 14±0.98 cm
perimeter is ranging from 13.02 cm to 14.98 cm
Hence (A) 13.6 cm to 14.4 cm includes the range of possible values of perimeter
