Hi Nanki,

Organelles are found only in eukaryotic cells. These structures are covered with a double layer membrane. Hence, you may have come across a term membrane-bound organelles which means organelles which have definite boundaries because of the presence of membrane around them. These organelles perform specific functions. Mitochondrion, chloroplast, endoplasmic reticulum some examples of the cell organelles.
