- The Atlantic Ocean has a long and an indented coastline. In an indented coastline, water comes close to the harbour providing a large entrance to the ships. Thus, the Atlantic Ocean is the busiest ocean in terms of trade and commerce.
- More than two third of the Earth’s surface is covered with water and hence it is known as the watery planet.
