Expert Answer
- The air near the Earth is very dense as it absorbs dirt, gas molecules and dust particles. As we go higher into the atmosphere, the amount of impurities present in the air decreases resulting into the decrease in temperature.
- Greater evaporation takes place when the temperatures are high. Since temperatures are extremely high during the summers and lowest during the winters, rate of evaporation is higher in summers when compared to winters.
