  1. Kochi is located close to the sea. Hence, it has a moderate type of climate. On the other hand, Delhi is located far away from the sea in the interior of the continent. It experiences a continental type of climate, where the summers are extremely hot and winters are extremely cool.
  2. Temperature decreases with an increase in altitude. Darjeeling is located at a higher altitude. Thus, Darjeeling is cooler than Kolkata in summer.
