Asia does not have a very well developed system of transportation. This is because the vast size of the continent, harsh cold weather in its northern parts, and the presence of many lofty mountains and extensive deserts hinder the development of transport facilities.
Fishing is not well developed in the South-east Asian countries as these countries lie in the tropical regions. High temperatures hamper the fishing activities. These countries also lack modern technological equipments and refrigeration facilities to catch and store fishes.
