From where does the government get money for public facilities?

Expert Answer
The main source of income or revenue for the government is through taxes. These taxes are collected from the people, and the government is empowered to collect taxes and use them for government initiatives and programmes or for providing various public facilities. For example, to supply electricity to various places, the government has to incur costs in carrying electricity over long distances. All these expenses are paid through the taxes collected.
