a)  Calories consumed:

1 Slice of Pizza  = 1 × 250 cal = 250 cal

Calories consumed on eating one slice pizza = 250 cal

 

b)    Calories burnt by cycling for 90 minutes = 250 cal

Let x be the calories gained on eating a slice of pizza and  y be the the calories burnt on cycling for 90 minutes, 

Hence, the linear equation is x = y
