Thus comma space we space have
3 straight x minus mx equals 5
rightwards double arrow mx equals 3 straight x minus 5
rightwards double arrow straight m equals fraction numerator 3 straight x minus 5 over denominator straight x end fraction comma space straight x not equal to 0 end style
