All the equations are correct.
 
1. Frequency is inversely proportional to lambda.
 
straight f equals space 1 over straight lambda
 
2. Energy, E = hc over straight lambda
 
3. Wave number is inversely proportional to lambda
 
  nu with minus on top space equals space 1 over lambda
 
4. Wave number = ∆E/hc
 
  nu with minus on top space equals space 1 over lambda
We know,
 
E = hc over straight lambda
 
straight lambda space equals space hc over straight E therefore straight nu with minus on top space equals space fraction numerator 1 over denominator begin display style bevelled hc over straight E end style end fraction space space space space space equals straight E over hc
