Answer:
It is given that 0.8A flows through 10Ω resistor. Hence Potential difference between A and B is 10×0.8 = 8 V.
 
It is given that 0.4A paases through R2. Since potential difference across R2 also 8 V, value of R2 is 8/0.4 = 20Ω
 
hence as per question x = 20/5 = 4
