Find the sum of A.P.
(1+1/p)+(1+2/p)+(1+3/p)+____upto p term.

Expert Answer
(1+1/p), (1+2/p), (1+3/p)....up to p terms forms an AP
Here first term (a) = 1+1/p and common difference (d) = 1/p
Sum to p terms is given by
Sp = p/2[2a+(p-1)d]
= p/2[2(1+1/p)+(p-1)/p]
= p/2[2 + 2/p + 1 - 1/p]
= p/2[3 + 1/p]
= (3p+1)/2
