By definition, Potential difference between the given two points is the workdone to move a unit charge from one point to another.
 
Hence to move an electron of charge e coulomb across parallel plates which are at potential difference 3×105 V, workdon is 3×105 eV.
 
Hence change in potential energy is 3×105 eV.
