A cotton is a bushy plant which grows well in black soil and alluvial soil. The cotton plant bears a large number of small green pods called cotton balls. When these balls mature, they burst exposing the white fibres of cotton. This cotton is sent to ginning where roller gins are used to clean cotton is combed and twisted into bale. A weaver weaves the two sets of yarn together and makes fabric.
