Explain what will happen if in a cultivated field only manures are supplied and in another field only fertilizers are supplied, keeping all other conditions similar .

If manures are supplied in one agricultural field, the advantage will be that the soil will be enriched with organic matter and nutrients but the major disadvantage will be that there will be no higher yields as fertilizers results in higher yields.
 
Similarly, if we supply only fertilizers in another field, soil fertility will be destroyed and simultaneously causing harm to the microorganisms which recycle the nutrients in the soil. It will also lead to water logging.
