The steroid hormone responsible for combating fight or flight situation in the body is adrenaline or stress hormone. When excited or in anger, the adrenal medulla produces a lot of adrenaline. The gland is stimulated by the nerve ending of the autonomic nervous system.
Different parts of the body react differently in response to adrenaline.
