Pivot joint is a joint which shows movement in the form of rotation. In a pivotal joint, a cylindrical bone rotates in a ring.It allows rotation about an axis.
Examples - pivot joint helps the head to rotate on the neck.
The two bones of the forearm (the ulna and the radius) twist around each other using a pivot joint. Pivot joint holds the two bones of the forearm together.
