Merits

• No time constraint to use the video conferencing method. This is because people can have video conferencing at any time in different parts of the world.
• It is not required to travel to other office premises for business discussion. People can remain in their own office premises and have communication through video conferencing. This saves time of the business people.
• It increases productivity level as they are easily communicate each other at their own place.

Demerits

• This method of communication lacks personal touch as they do not meet face to face.
• During video conferencing technical failure leads to waste of time and delay in business activities. When technical support is not appropriate then the urgent decision cannot be taken by the management.
