Does a beam of light passing through the prism always deviate towards the base of the prism

refer the figures for the following discussion. Fig.(a) illustrates the incident light ray deviates towards the base BC.
Let vus consider the case shown in fig.(b) where the ray direction is exactly reversed compared to fig.(a). Figure(b) also illustrates the ray deviate towards base BC.
Figure(c) shows the case in which light ray enters the side AB but in opposite region of normal compared to figure(a). This case also shows that light ray deviate towards base AC.
Figure(d) shows the normal incidence of light ray and shows that in this case also the light ray deviate towards base AC..
Conclusion:-
When a lighjt ray enters a prisim, however be its incidence, it always deviate towards a base of prisim.
