Vital Capacity

Total Lung Capacity

  1. It is the maximum volume of air a person can breathe in after forced expiration.

  1. It is the total volume of air accommodated in the lungs at the end of forced inspiration.

  1. It includes expiratory reserve volume, tidal volume and inspiratory reserve volume.

  1. It includes the residual volume and the vital capacity (ERV + TV + IRV)
