Endothermic reactions - The reaction in which the system absorbs the energy from the surreounding in the form of heat is called endothermic reactions. In this reaction, the system absorbs the energy from the surrounding. Examples: Cooking, Evaporation, melting of ice
Exothermic reactions: The reaction in which the system evolves the energy into the surrounding in the form of heat is called exothermic reaction. In this reaction, the energy is given out into the surrounding.
Examples: Rusting of iron, nuclear fission etc.
