difference between force and pressure

1. Force is vector quantity, while pressure is a scalar quantity.
2. Pressure is force per unit area, while force is push or pull which sets an obje ct in motion or brings an object to rest.
3. SI unit of force is Newton (N) and that of pressure is Pascal (Pa) or N/m2
