Dialogue writing is a written exchange of words between two or more speakers. In order to write a good dialogue,
- Listen to the next exchange to fill in the previous one.
- Place yourselves in a real situation to write a full dialogue.
The following are some expressions you can use while attempting dialogue writing exercises and questions.
- Oh! Oh, my God! Wow! Really? Are you serious? Hmm? Oh, dear! Well! Oops! What on earth are you saying? Don’t be silly/childish.
- Hello! Good morning. Bye. See you later. Have a nice day. Good day. Have a wonderful vacation!
- How wonderful you do this! Why would you do that?
- What a pleasant surprise! How amazing! How interesting! How shocking! How stupid! How foolish!
- Good to see you. That’s fine. Maybe. Perhaps. Go ahead. I am afraid.
- Excuse me. Thank you. You are welcome. I don’t care. For that matter. What lovely weather! So cold! So surprised!
- I suggest. I feel.
Hope this helps.
