Expert Answer
Density = Mass/Volume of solid.
Volume of solid sphere = Volume of water in the measuring cylinder(When object is completely immersed in it) - Volume of water in the measuring cylinder, without the solid.
But in the given example, the we get a negative volume for solid, which is incorrect, please check the query again.
Anyway you can always use the above formula for these kind of problems.
Also, 1000 ml = 1 lit and 1gm/cc = 1 gm/ml = 1000 kg/m3
