Derive velocity time formula for a uniformly accelerated motion along a straight line from a v-t graph.

Letv0 and v be the velocity of an object at t=0 and t=t respectively, and 'a' be the uniform acceleration.

Let the distance covered in time t is S.
 
 
 
From the graph, we have
v0=OA=CD
v = OE=BD
 t = OD=OC
Now slope of velocity-time graph is equal to acceleration a'
